The XXVI edition of Ravenna Festival will conclude – the 23,24 and 25 July at the Teatro Alighieri – with staging of Falstaff by Giuseppe Verdi, which will feature the Maestro Riccardo Muti
in his only Italian date of 2015 with the work. A valuable opportunity for the romantic world of lyrical comedy meets high craftsmanship of Venini glass tradition and come to life three true works of art.
The Falstaff of VENINI – created by designer Alessandro Mendini – who donated an image elegant and grotesque mask of the protagonist of Sir John Falstaff.
The RAVENNA Vase- symbolic reference to the city of Ravenna and its mosaics – created by Venini with the ancient technique of Murrine, mosaics composed of many small pieces of glass fragmented stalks and arranged in an alchemical design.
UOVO ALBERO DELLA VITA, a work that expresses and embodies energy and vitality.
