Siderale

Giorgio Vigna

“The memory of the furnace conveyed by the Siderale collection of lamps derives from the very process of glass making. In this design, a master glass blower’s tool, intended as a means rather than as an end, has been released from its traditional function and freed to acquire aesthetic
and evocative value. Cones bearing all the marks of production have become enigmatic stalactites of ice with a totally new function.”
